eSIM cannot run on every phone. Compatible phones include iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and Google Pixel 2 and newer. eSIM requires dedicated hardware built into the device during manufacturing, so phones from before 2018 and most budget Android models do not support it. The Honor 200 Lite does not support eSIM. Honor's eSIM support is limited to select flagship models in markets outside China. The iPhone 13 supports eSIM.
