Three Simple Steps to Set Up

    Check Your Email

    Look for the HelloRoam confirmation email after your order goes through. Open it on a laptop or second phone so you can scan the QR code with your primary device.

    Scan the QR Code

    On iPhone, go to Settings, then Cellular, and tap Add e-SIM. On Android, open Settings, then Connections or Network, and add your e-SIM the same way.

    Turn On Data Roaming

    Select your new HelloRoam line and switch data roaming on. Keep your Jio, Airtel, or Vi SIM active for calls and texts while you travel.

Things to Check Before You Start

You need an unlocked phone that supports e SIM technology. Most iPhones from the XS onward and most Android phones from the last few years qualify, though a quick check in your settings for an Add eSIM option confirms it. You also need a Wi-Fi connection during setup, since the profile downloads over the internet. Keep your HelloRoam confirmation email open on a laptop, tablet, or second phone, so your main device stays free to scan the QR code.
