    Open Your Confirmation Email

    Find the HelloRoam confirmation email in your inbox and open it on a laptop or spare device, ready to scan the QR code with your phone.

    Scan Your QR Code

    Open Settings on iPhone or Connections on Android, then tap Add e-SIM. Point your camera at the QR code from your email and you're nearly there.

    Switch Data Roaming On

    Select your new HelloRoam line and switch data roaming on. Your Three, Vodafone, or eir SIM stays put for calls and texts while you're away.

What You'll Need Before You Start

You'll need a phone that's unlocked and supports e SIM technology. Most iPhones from the XS onward and Android phones from the past few years qualify, though it's worth checking your settings for an Add eSIM option to be sure. You'll also want Wi-Fi handy, since the eSIM profile downloads over the internet, plus your confirmation email open on a second device like a tablet or laptop, so your phone's free to scan the QR code.
