Three Steps and You're Sorted

    Check Your Email

    Look out for the HelloRoam confirmation email once your order goes through. Open it on a laptop or spare phone, then scan the QR code with your main device.

    Scan the QR Code

    On iPhone, open Settings, tap Cellular, then Add eSIM. On Android, look for SIM Manager under Connections or Network and Internet. Scan the QR code from your email to finish.

    Turn On Data Roaming

    Find your new HelloRoam e-SIM line and turn data roaming on. Switch off roaming on your home SIM too, so Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone don't catch you out with charges.

Your Pre-Trip Checklist

Two things matter most: your phone must be unlocked, and it must support e SIM. Most iPhones from the XS on and most Android phones from the past few years are good to go, though a quick settings check for an Add eSIM option confirms it. You'll also want Wi-Fi for the download, and your HelloRoam confirmation email open on a laptop, tablet, or spare phone, so your main device is free to scan the QR code.
