HelloRoam gets your eSIM sorted in under 5 minutes on any compatible phone. There's no physical SIM card to swap and no queue at a kiosk. Pick your device below and follow the steps to get connected.

Getting Connected in Three Steps

    Check your inbox

    Look for the HelloRoam confirmation email with your QR code. Open it on a laptop or second phone so your main device stays free to scan.

    Scan your QR code

    Open Settings, then Cellular on iPhone or Connections on Android. Tap Add e-SIM and point your camera at the QR code from the email.

    Switch on data roaming

    Find your new HelloRoam line under Settings and turn data roaming on. Your Vodacom, MTN, or Cell C SIM stays active for calls back home.

Phone Requirements Before You Begin

You need an unlocked handset that supports e SIM technology. Most iPhones from the XS onwards work, and so do most Android phones from the last few years. Check your settings for an Add eSIM option to be sure. You'll also need Wi-Fi during setup, since the profile downloads over the internet. Keep your confirmation email open on a second device so your phone stays free to scan.
