Set Up Your eSIM, Step by Step

    Open Your Confirmation Email

    Find your HelloRoam confirmation email and open it on a second device, ready to scan the QR code with your phone's camera.

    Scan the QR Code

    Go to Settings, then Cellular on iPhone or Connections on Android. Tap Add e-SIM and scan the code from your confirmation email.

    Switch On Data Roaming

    Select your new HelloRoam line and turn Data Roaming on. Your Singtel, StarHub, or M1 number stays active for calls.

Requirements Before You Begin

You need an unlocked phone that supports e SIM technology, plus a stable Wi-Fi connection for the download. Most iPhones from the XS onwards and Android phones from recent years qualify, though checking your settings for an Add eSIM option confirms it. Keep your HelloRoam confirmation email open on a second device, such as a laptop or tablet, so your main phone stays free to scan the QR code.
