Question 1

How do I get the eSIM code?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam eSIM discount code HELLO5 applies in three steps: pick your destination plan (Japan, Korea, Thailand, Bali, Johor Bahru, and Batam are top picks for Singapore travellers), type HELLO5 in the Promo Code field at checkout, then click Apply. The 5% discount comes off your total straight away with no minimum spend. The code works on all plans across 185+ countries, from compact 3GB plans to 20GB month-long plans.

Question 2

Does the HELLO5 coupon code expire?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code is valid until December 31, 2026 and stops working at checkout after that date. It gives 5% off any HelloRoam eSIM plan and is limited to one use per account. Apply it before the deadline to secure your savings. Follow HelloRoam on social media or sign up to the newsletter to hear about future discount codes.

Question 3

Do HelloRoam promo codes expire?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam promo codes have a set expiry date. The HELLO5 code is valid until December 31, 2026, after which it will not work at checkout. Apply it before the deadline to lock in your 5% off. Check HelloRoam social channels or the newsletter for future discount codes.

Question 4

What if my coupon code isn't working?

Accepted Answer

Check five things when a code does not work: (1) spelling, since codes like HELLO5 are case-sensitive and must match exactly; (2) the expiry date, as the code may have passed its valid window; (3) whether you already used it, since each code is limited to one use per account; (4) minimum order amount, and none applies to this code; (5) whether another promotion is already applied, since only one offer is accepted per checkout. If it still fails, email help@helloroam.com with your order details.

Question 5

Does HelloRoam offer student discounts?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam does not offer a separate student eSIM discount, but the HELLO5 promo code is open to all customers including students. The 5% off applies to any plan with no restrictions. Singapore students travelling to the UK, Australia, Japan, or Korea for study will find the code useful for cutting their international data bill. It also works for short JB or Batam study trips and weekend getaways. Plans start from S$1.32.

Question 6

Can I use a coupon code on an already discounted plan?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code covers all HelloRoam eSIM plans, including those already on sale, across 185+ countries. HelloRoam calculates the 5% discount on the current displayed price, so a plan already marked down in a sale drops even further at checkout. Plans start from S$1.32. Referral credits and other promotions do not combine with this code. One offer per checkout applies.

Question 7

Do HelloRoam coupon codes work for all countries?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 discount code covers all 185+ countries in the HelloRoam network with no geographic exclusions. It works on single-country plans for popular Singapore traveller picks including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Bali, Malaysia (Johor Bahru, Penang, KL), Australia, and the UK, on regional plans for Southeast Asia and Europe, and on global plans. Every data size from 3GB to 20GB qualifies for the 5% discount.

Question 8

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam refunds orders where the eSIM has not been installed or activated on a device. Submit your order ID to the support team and a refund will be processed. Once an eSIM is installed and activated, refunds are not available because the plan has been used. An eSIM is also not transferable to another device once installed. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 14 business days depending on your payment method.

Question 9

Can I share my coupon code with friends?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code is shareable with friends, family, or your social audience. Each person gets one use for 5% off their own HelloRoam purchase. HelloRoam also runs a separate referral programme where you earn account credits every time a friend buys their first plan through your personal referral link.
