The Samsung Galaxy M53 does not support eSIM. It uses dual physical nano-SIM slots but has no embedded eSIM chip. eSIM-compatible Samsung phones start with the Galaxy S20 series. Go to Settings, then Connections, then SIM card manager on your device. If no Add eSIM option appears, your phone is physical SIM only.
Adding a second eSIM to an iPhone takes about 2 minutes.
