On a trip to Europe, my hotel Wi-Fi was so slow and outside Wi-Fi was unreliable. I couldn’t take it anymore so I got helloroam for a few days. It was tricky to set up correctly because of the primary settings (with my original number). But I reached out to their customer service via WhatsApp. Super responsive and helpful, with specific and clear steps to troubleshoot. Do you keep your phone number with an eSIM?

Most modern phones support dual SIM, so your Eir or Vodafone Ireland number stays active on one line while the HelloRoam e SIM handles data on the other. Switch off mobile data on your primary SIM to avoid charges from your Irish carrier. Your contacts can still ring your Irish number while you are away.

Can I have two eSIMs on one phone?

Many phones store two or more eSIM profiles at once, including iPhones from the XS onward, Samsung Galaxy S20 and later, and Google Pixel 3 and later.
