Question 1

How do I use a HelloRoam promo code?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam eSIM discount code HELLO5 works at checkout in three steps: pick your destination plan, enter the code in the Promo Code field, then hit Apply. The 5% saving comes off your total right away, with no minimum spend and no catch. The code works on any plan across 185+ countries, including trips to Australia, Fiji, Japan, and the UK.

Question 2

Does the HELLO5 coupon code expire?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code is valid until December 31, 2026, after which it stops working at checkout. It gives 5% off any HelloRoam eSIM plan and is limited to one use per account. Apply it before the deadline to lock in your savings. Follow HelloRoam on social media or sign up for the newsletter to hear about future eSIM discount codes.

Question 3

Do HelloRoam promo codes expire?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam promo codes do expire. The HELLO5 code stops working after December 31, 2026. Apply it before then to get the 5% saving. Check back on this page or follow HelloRoam on social media for future voucher codes and deals.

Question 4

What if my coupon code is not working?

Accepted Answer

Check five things if your eSIM voucher code is not working: (1) spelling, as codes like HELLO5 are case-sensitive and must be typed exactly, (2) expiry date, (3) whether you have already used it on a previous order, (4) minimum spend requirements (there are none for this code), (5) whether another deal is already applied. If it still will not go through, email help@helloroam.com with your order details and we will sort it out.

Question 5

Does HelloRoam offer student discounts for Kiwi travellers?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam does not run a dedicated student voucher code, but promo codes like HELLO5 are open to everyone in New Zealand, including students and OE travellers. The 5% saving applies to any plan with no restrictions. Check the HelloRoam promotions page for any dedicated Kiwi student offers that may run separately.

Question 6

Can I use a discount code on an already reduced plan?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code works on all HelloRoam eSIM plans, including plans already on sale, across all 185+ countries. The 5% discount applies to the current displayed price, so a plan already marked down in a sale drops even further once the code is applied at checkout. Plans start from NZ$1.77. You cannot combine it with referral credits or other promotions running at the same time.

Question 7

Do HelloRoam discount codes work for all countries?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code applies to all 185+ countries HelloRoam covers, with no geographic limits. It works on single-country plans for popular Kiwi OE destinations such as Australia, the UK, Fiji, and Japan, regional plans for Southeast Asia and Europe, and global plans. Every data size from 3GB to 20GB qualifies for the 5% eSIM discount.

Question 8

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam refunds orders where the eSIM has not been installed or activated. Contact support with your order ID and the team will process the refund for you. Once an eSIM is activated the plan has been used and refunds are not available. Approved refunds arrive within 5 to 14 business days depending on your payment method.

Question 9

Can I share my discount code with mates?

Accepted Answer

You can pass the HELLO5 code on to mates, family, or your audience. Each person gets one use for 5% off their own HelloRoam account. HelloRoam also runs a separate referral programme where you earn account credits each time a friend signs up through your personal link.
