A plan's name doesn't match its map. The Europe plan covers 33 destinations, and the Countries page lists 52 countries in Europe with a local plan.

One regional plan versus several local plans
A worked example, using the prices on this page: two weeks in France, Italy and Spain, using about 10GB of data.
One regional plan
Europe, 33 destinationsNZ$46.33

- Go regional when
- You cross borders often, your route isn't locked in yet, or you just want one install for the whole trip.
- Go local when
- You're spending most days in one or two countries. Add up one local eSIM per country, then compare the total with the regional plan.
Crossing a border with a regional plan
- Your eSIM keeps working when you cross into another country on its list. Leave data roaming on for the HelloRoam eSIM line, and there's nothing to switch at the border.
- In a country that's not on the list, your eSIM has no data. Check the list before you book.
- One QR code covers every country on the list, so you only install the eSIM once.

Heading to Europe and Asia: will a single purchase do?
Yes. The HelloRoam Global plan covers 127 destinations on one eSIM, including 43 in Europe and 20 in Asia. The Europe and Asia plans are separate, with 33 and 19 destinations. The Global plan sells fixed data only, from NZ$23.48 for 1GB, 7 days.
Can I search for my country to find its plans?
Check the destination list on each e SIM plan on this page. Or type your country into the search at the top to see every plan that covers it. The Europe plan lists the United Kingdom and Switzerland, for example, but not Turkey. A trip that ends in Istanbul needs the Turkey plan, or a regional plan that lists Turkey: the Middle East and Global plans.
Will a pricier stop on my route cost extra?
No. You pay once for the e-sim plan, and its data counts the same in every country on the list. A 10GB plan gives you 10GB in total, to use in any of its countries. It doesn't reset at a border.
