One regional plan

- You're crossing borders often, your route might change, or you want one install for the whole trip.
- Choose local plans when
- You'll spend most days in one or two countries. Add up one local plan per country, then compare that total with the regional plan.
Border crossings on a regional plan
- Your eSIM keeps working when you cross into another country on its list. Keep data roaming on for the HelloRoam eSIM line, and there's nothing to switch at the border.
- In a country that isn't on the list, your eSIM has no data. Check the list before you book.
- A single QR code covers every country on the list, so you install the eSIM just once.

Does Global replace separate Europe and Asia plans?
Yes, the HelloRoam Global plan covers both. It includes 127 destinations on one eSIM: 43 in Europe and 20 in Asia. The Europe and Asia plans stay separate, with 33 and 19 destinations each. The Global plan sells fixed data only, starting at CA$19.12 for 1GB, 7 days.
How can I see which destinations a regional plan lists?
Read the destination list on each e SIM plan on this page. You can also type your country into the search bar at the top to see every plan that covers it. The Europe plan lists the United Kingdom and Switzerland, for example, but not Turkey. A trip that ends in Istanbul needs the Turkey plan, or a regional plan that lists Turkey: the Middle East and Global plans.
Do border crossings use up more data?
No. You pay once for the e-sim plan, and its data counts the same in every country on the list. A 10GB plan gives you 10GB in total, to use anywhere on its list. It doesn't reset at a border.
