Crossing borders on a regional plan

The eSIM keeps working when you cross into another country on its list. Keep data roaming on for the HelloRoam eSIM line, and there is nothing to switch at the border.
In a country that is not on the list, the eSIM has no data. Check the list before you book.
One QR code covers every country on the list, so you install the eSIM once.

Is there one plan that works in both Europe and Asia?

Yes, the HelloRoam Global plan. It covers 127 destinations on one eSIM, including 43 in Europe and 20 in Asia. The Europe and Asia plans are separate, with 33 and 19 destinations. The Global plan sells fixed data only, from $13.68 for 1GB, 7 days.

How do I check that a country is on a regional plan?

Read the destination list of each e SIM plan on this page. Or type the country into the search at the top to see every plan that covers it. The Europe plan lists the United Kingdom and Switzerland, for example, but not Turkey. A trip that ends in Istanbul needs the Turkey plan, or a regional plan that lists Turkey: the Middle East and Global plans.

Do I pay more for data in some countries on a regional plan?

No. You pay once for the e-sim plan, and its data counts the same in every country on the list. A 10GB plan gives 10GB in total, to use in any of its countries. It does not reset at a border.

Does a T-Mobile International Pass work in several countries?

Yes, in 215+ countries and destinations, but only with a qualifying T-Mobile plan. The 10-day pass costs $50.00 for 15GB, and the 30-day pass costs $75.00 for 30GB (T-Mobile, checked Sep 28, 2026). A HelloRoam multi-country eSIM needs no carrier plan: the Europe plan sells 20GB for 30 days at $42.99.
