   Driving through Wyoming, Montana, Nevada's interior, or the Great Plains means long stretches with no mobile coverage. For Canadian road trippers heading south into the US, download offline maps for your entire route before you leave urban areas. Download fuel station locations, campground details, and accommodation addresses before entering remote regions.

   Mexico Resort Areas Are Well-Covered

   Canada's most popular Mexico destinations including Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Huatulco all have solid 4G from Telcel. Hotel zones and all main resort strips are well-served. Interior Mexico and states like Guerrero, Chiapas, and Oaxaca's mountain villages have more limited coverage.

Palm Springs, Scottsdale, and other Canadian snowbird favourites have excellent connectivity year-round. The Florida Keys are well-covered along the Overseas Highway.

   Emergency Numbers in North America

   All three countries share 911 as the primary emergency number. In the USA and Canada, 911 connects to local police, fire, and ambulance. In Mexico, 911 is the national emergency number as well. Your eSIM allows emergency calls even with no data balance.
