On a trip to Europe, my hotel Wi-Fi was so slow and outside Wi-Fi was unreliable. I couldn’t take it anymore so I got helloroam for a few days. It was tricky to set up correctly because of the primary settings (with my original number). But I reached out to their customer service via WhatsApp. Super responsive and helpful, with specific and clear steps to troubleshoot. Appreciate having 4G roaming instead of being stuck with in and out Wi-Fi during my trip!!

Very good experience! The eSIM was easy to set up and worked great in London. It was much cheaper than it would have been to use my own operator there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply a HelloRoam promo code at checkout?

HelloRoam promo code HELLO5 applies at checkout in three steps: pick your destination plan, type the code into the Promo Code field, then tap Apply. The 5% discount comes off your order total right away, with no minimum spend. The code works on any plan in 185+ countries, whatever the data size, from a quick US road trip to a snowbird winter in Florida or Arizona.

When does the HELLO5 coupon code expire?

The HELLO5 code expires on December 31, 2026, after which it will not work at checkout. It gives 5% off any eSIM plan and is limited to one use per account. Apply it before the deadline to lock in your savings. HelloRoam runs new Canadian promotions around key travel periods including March Break, summer, Thanksgiving in October, and Christmas. Sign up for the newsletter to hear about the next deal.

Do HelloRoam eSIM discount codes expire?

HelloRoam promo codes do expire. The HELLO5 code stops working at checkout after December 31, 2026. Apply it before that date to lock in your 5% savings on any eSIM plan. New Canadian discount codes are released around March Break, summer travel season, Thanksgiving in October, and Christmas. Check this page or follow HelloRoam on social media to get the next code.

What if my coupon code is not working?

Try five things when your code does not work: (1) check the spelling, because codes like HELLO5 are case-sensitive, (2) check the expiry date, (3) confirm you have not used it on a previous order, (4) check whether a minimum order applies (this code has none), and (5) check whether a different promotion is already active. If none of that helps, email help@helloroam.com with your order details and the team will sort it out.

Does HelloRoam offer student discounts for Canadian students?

HelloRoam does not currently offer a dedicated student promo code, but codes like HELLO5 are open to all Canadian customers, including students. The 5% discount applies to every plan with no extra conditions. Students heading abroad on exchange to the UK, France, or Spain and families travelling over March Break all qualify. Visit the HelloRoam site to check whether any student-specific offers are running.

Can I stack a coupon code on a plan that is already discounted?

The HELLO5 code works on every HelloRoam eSIM plan in all 185+ countries, including plans that are already on sale. The 5% discount comes off the current displayed price, so a plan already reduced in a sale drops further when you apply the code at checkout. You cannot combine it with referral credits or other promotions in the same order.
