Question 1

How do I use a HelloRoam promo code?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam eSIM discount code HELLO5 takes 5% off your order in three steps: pick your destination plan, type the code into the Promo Code field at checkout, then tap Apply. The saving comes straight off the total, no worries. The code works on every plan across 185+ countries, from a 3GB Bali trip to a 20GB Europe and UK adventure.

Question 2

Does the HELLO5 coupon code expire?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 eSIM promo code expires on December 31, 2026, after which it stops working at checkout. It gives 5% off any HelloRoam plan across 185+ countries and can only be used once per account. Get it in before the deadline to lock in your savings. Sign up to the HelloRoam newsletter or follow us on social to hear about new eSIM discount codes when they drop.

Question 3

Do HelloRoam promo codes expire?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam promo codes do expire. The HELLO5 code is valid until December 31, 2026 and stops working after that date. Use it before the cut-off to lock in your 5% off. Follow HelloRoam on social or subscribe to the newsletter to get notified when new esim discount codes are released.

Question 4

What if my coupon code isn't working?

Accepted Answer

Five things to check when a code is not working: (1) capitalisation (codes like HELLO5 are case-sensitive, type it exactly), (2) the expiry date, (3) whether you have already used it on a previous order, (4) any minimum spend (there is none for this code), (5) whether another promotion is already applied. Still stuck? Flick an email to help@helloroam.com with your order details and the team will sort it.

Question 5

Does HelloRoam offer student discounts?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam does not run a separate student-only eSIM promo code, but codes like HELLO5 are open to everyone including uni students. Plans start at A$1.46 and the 5% off applies to any eSIM plan with no restrictions on destination or data size. HelloRoam typically runs promotions around key Australian travel periods: Christmas and New Year (December to January summer holidays), Easter long weekend, mid-year school holidays (June to July), and the start of the Bali and Japan peak seasons. Check the HelloRoam promotions page or sign up to the newsletter to catch the next sale.

Question 6

Can I use a coupon code on an already discounted plan?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 eSIM discount code works on all HelloRoam plans, even those already on sale, across all 185+ countries. The 5% comes off the current displayed price, so a plan already on sale drops even further at checkout. You cannot stack it with referral credits or other active promotions.

Question 7

Do HelloRoam coupon codes work for all countries?

Accepted Answer

The HELLO5 code works across all 185+ countries HelloRoam covers, with no geographic restrictions. It covers single-country plans for Bali, Japan, New Zealand, and the UK, regional plans for Southeast Asia and Europe, and global plans for 100-plus destinations. Every data size from 3GB to 20GB gets the 5% discount. Popular Aussie holiday routes like Bali, Tokyo, Osaka, Queenstown, and London all qualify.

Question 8

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

HelloRoam refunds orders where the eSIM has not been installed or activated. Contact support with your order ID and the team will process the refund within 5 to 14 business days. Once an eSIM is activated the plan is in use and refunds are not available. The 180-day money-back window applies to unactivated plans.

Question 9

Can I share my coupon code with friends?

Accepted Answer

You can share the HELLO5 code with mates, family, or your online audience. Each person gets one use for 5% off their own HelloRoam order. HelloRoam also runs a separate referral programme where you earn account credits each time a friend signs up through your personal link.
