Antes de escanear el código QR, toma en cuenta:
- •Abre el código QR en un segundo dispositivo (computadora u otro celular) antes de empezar a escanear.
- •Permanece en Wi-Fi todo el tiempo. Perder la conexión a la mitad puede causar errores en la instalación.
- •Cada código QR funciona para un solo escaneo. Después de un escaneo exitoso, el código expira y ya no puedes usarlo.
- •No elimines la eSIM después de instalarla. Una eSIM no es transferible entre dispositivos una vez instalada, así que eliminarla significa perder tu plan.
Antes de iniciar la instalación manual, ten en cuenta:
- •Cada código de activación manual es de un solo uso. No lo compartas ni lo ingreses dos veces.
- •Mantén una conexión Wi-Fi estable todo el tiempo. Si se corta la conexión, la instalación puede fallar.
- •La eSIM queda vinculada a tu dispositivo una vez instalada. No es transferible a otro celular, así que no la elimines si todavía la necesitas.

Preguntas frecuentes
HelloRoam eSIM es compatible con Galaxy S20 hasta S24 (Plus, Ultra y FE), Z Fold 2-5, Z Flip hasta Z Flip5 y la serie Note 20. Tu celular necesita OneUI 3.0 o posterior (Android 11+). La mayoría de modelos de la serie A no tienen hardware eSIM, así que revisa las especificaciones de tu modelo antes de comprar un plan.
Samsung Galaxy guarda la configuración eSIM en SIM Manager, que se encuentra en Settings > Connections > SIM Manager. En OneUI 6.0 y versiones más recientes puede aparecer como SIM card manager en la misma ruta. Si no lo encuentras, escribe SIM Manager en el buscador de Settings y aparece de inmediato.
Puedes agregar una eSIM HelloRoam a tu Samsung sin QR usando la entrada manual. Ve a Settings > Connections > SIM Manager, toca Add eSIM y elige Enter activation code manually. Escribe la dirección SM-DP+ y el código de activación de tu correo HelloRoam. Ambos códigos llegan en menos de 5 minutos. Una vez instalada, la eSIM queda vinculada a tu dispositivo y no es transferible.
Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ y S24 Ultra admiten dual eSIM, por lo que dos perfiles eSIM pueden estar activos al mismo tiempo sin necesidad de SIM física. Es ideal para viajeros mexicanos que van a Estados Unidos o Japón y quieren conservar su número de Telcel o AT&T activo mientras usan un plan de datos local. Administra ambas líneas en Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
