Antes de escanear el QR code, ten en cuenta lo siguiente:
- •Abre el QR code en otro dispositivo (tu computadora o un segundo celular) para poder escanearlo con tu Pixel.
- •Mantén una conexión Wi-Fi estable durante todo el proceso. Perderla puede causar errores.
- •El QR code es de un solo uso. Una vez escaneado, no se puede usar de nuevo.
- •No elimines la eSIM después de instalarla. Está vinculada a este dispositivo y no puede moverse ni reutilizarse.
Antes de iniciar la instalación manual, ten en cuenta lo siguiente:
- •Cada código de activación manual es de un solo uso. No lo compartas ni lo uses dos veces.
- •Mantén el Wi-Fi estable todo el tiempo. Perder la conexión a la mitad puede generar errores.
- •Una vez instalada, la eSIM queda vinculada a tu Pixel. Si la eliminas, no podrás usarla de nuevo.

5. Enter the code
Copy the manual installation code from your HelloRoam email and paste it in. Tap Continue and wait a few seconds.

- •Wait until you land at your destination before activating your eSIM. eSIM activation is automatic once you land and turn Data Roaming on.
- •Switch on airplane mode, then reconnect to Wi-Fi so your home carrier does not charge you.
- •Save this guide as a PDF so you can follow along without an internet connection.
Open Settings, tap Mobile Data, and find your HelloRoam eSIM profile in the list.
Turn on your eSIM line and switch on Data Roaming so your phone connects when you land.

Consejos Útiles para tu Google Pixel
- Transferencia de eSIM:Al configurar un Pixel nuevo, puedes transferir tu eSIM de HelloRoam de forma inalámbrica durante la configuración inicial. Ten en cuenta que la eSIM de HelloRoam queda vinculada al dispositivo original y no es transferible una vez instalada fuera de ese proceso de configuración.
- Dual eSIM (Pixel 9):Pixel 9, 9 Pro y 9 Pro XL pueden correr dos eSIM activas al mismo tiempo. Mantén tu número mexicano y usa un plan de datos local cuando viajes a Estados Unidos, Canadá o donde sea.

Preguntas frecuentes
Google Pixel es compatible con eSIM desde el modelo Pixel 3 en adelante, incluyendo Pixel 3 hasta Pixel 9 Pro XL y Pixel Fold. Necesitas Android 9.0 o superior. El Pixel 10 ya no trae ranura física de SIM y funciona únicamente con eSIM. Consulta el sitio de soporte de Google para confirmar tu modelo específico.
La opción de eSIM en Google Pixel 7 y la mayoría de los modelos se encuentra en Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM. En Android 15 (serie Pixel 9), ve a Settings > Network & Internet > Internet y toca el ícono de más junto a SIMs. Si no lo encuentras, escribe 'SIM' en el buscador de Settings.
HelloRoam eSIM se puede instalar en Google Pixel sin QR code. Entra a Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM y elige ingresar el código de activación manualmente. Escribe la dirección SM-DP+ y el código que encontrarás en tu correo de confirmación de HelloRoam. La opción manual está disponible en todos los modelos Pixel compatibles.
Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro y 9 Pro XL admiten dual eSIM, lo que significa que dos perfiles de eSIM funcionan al mismo tiempo sin necesidad de SIM física. Google Pixel admite transferencia inalámbrica de eSIM durante la configuración inicial, a partir del Pixel 7. La eSIM de HelloRoam queda vinculada al dispositivo original y no es transferible una vez instalada fuera de ese proceso. Si la transferencia falla, contacta a soporte de HelloRoam por WhatsApp y el equipo emite un nuevo QR code en menos de 2 horas.
