Enkele dingen die u moet weten voor u de QR-code scant:
- •Open de QR-code op een tweede toestel (uw laptop of een andere gsm) zodat u hem kunt scannen met uw Pixel.
- •Zorg de hele tijd voor een stabiele Wi-Fi-verbinding. Een onderbroken verbinding tijdens het scannen veroorzaakt fouten.
- •De QR-code is eenmalig. Eenmaal gescand, kan hij niet opnieuw worden gescand.
- •Verwijder de eSIM niet na de installatie. Hij is aan dit toestel gekoppeld en kan niet worden verplaatst of hergebruikt.
Enkele dingen die u moet weten voor u begint met de handmatige installatie:
- •Elke handmatige activatiecode is eenmalig. Deel hem niet en voer hem niet twee keer in.
- •Blijf de hele tijd verbonden met Wi-Fi. Een onderbroken verbinding tijdens de installatie kan fouten veroorzaken.
- •Eenmaal geïnstalleerd is deze eSIM gekoppeld aan uw Pixel. Als u hem verwijdert, kunt u hem niet meer gebruiken.

Handige tips voor Google Pixel
- eSIM-overdracht:Bij het instellen van een nieuwe Pixel kunt u uw HelloRoam eSIM draadloos overdragen via de toestelinstelling. Let op: een HelloRoam eSIM is gekoppeld aan uw oorspronkelijk toestel en kan na installatie niet worden overgedragen buiten deze installatieflow.
- Dual eSIM (Pixel 9):Pixel 9, 9 Pro en 9 Pro XL kunnen twee actieve eSIM's tegelijk uitvoeren. Houd uw Belgisch nummer actief en gebruik een lokaal reisdataplan tijdens uw verblijf in Spanje of Italië.
- Snelle installatie:Standaard Android op Pixel heeft de minste installatiestappen van alle Android-toestellen. De meeste reizigers zijn verbonden in minder dan 2 minuten.

De volledige lijst omvat Pixel 3, 3 XL, 3a, 3a XL, 4, 4 XL, 4a, 4a 5G, 5, 5a 5G, 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL en Pixel Fold. U heeft Android 9.0 (Pie) of hoger nodig. De Pixel 10 werkt uitsluitend met eSIM en heeft geen fysieke sim-kaartsleuf.
De eSIM-instelling op Google Pixel 7 en de meeste Pixel-modellen vindt u via Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM. Op Android 15 (Pixel 9-serie) gaat u naar Settings > Network & Internet > Internet en tikt u op het plusteken naast SIMs. Kunt u het niet vinden, typ dan 'SIM' in de zoekbalk van Settings.
U kunt een HelloRoam eSIM op Google Pixel installeren zonder QR-code. Ga naar Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add SIM en kies voor handmatige invoer van de activatiecode. Typ het SM-DP+-adres en de activatiecode uit uw HelloRoam-mail. De exacte stappen kunnen licht verschillen per Android-versie, maar de handmatige optie is beschikbaar op alle ondersteunde Pixel-modellen.
Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro en 9 Pro XL ondersteunen dual eSIM, zodat twee eSIM-profielen tegelijk actief zijn zonder fysieke sim-kaart. Ideaal voor Belgische reizigers naar Parijs of Barcelona die hun thuisnummer actief willen houden terwijl ze een lokaal dataplan gebruiken. Pixel 8, 7 en 6-serie ondersteunen één eSIM plus één fysieke sim-kaart. Beheer uw sim-kaarten via Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
Google Pixel-gsm's ondersteunen draadloze eSIM-overdracht tijdens de instelling van een nieuw toestel vanaf Pixel 7. Volg de aanwijzing op het scherm bij het instellen van uw nieuwe Pixel om het profiel van uw oud toestel over te zetten. HelloRoam eSIM's zijn gekoppeld aan het oorspronkelijke toestel en kunnen eenmaal geïnstalleerd niet worden overgedragen. Als de draadloze overdracht mislukt, neemt u contact op met HelloRoam-support voor een nieuwe QR-code.
U controleert eSIM-ondersteuning op uw Pixel door Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network te openen en te zoeken naar een eSIM- of SIM-optie. De Pixel 9 ondersteunt eSIM bij alle Belgische operators. U kunt ook uw specifiek Pixel-modelnummer opzoeken op de Google-ondersteuningssite om compatibiliteit te bevestigen voor u een abonnement koopt.
