Enkele dingen die u moet weten voor u de QR-code scant:
- •Open de QR-code op een tweede toestel (laptop of een andere gsm) voor u begint met scannen.
- •Blijf de hele tijd verbonden met Wi-Fi. Een onderbroken verbinding tijdens de installatie kan fouten veroorzaken.
- •Elke QR-code werkt slechts voor één scan. Na een geslaagde scan vervalt de code en kunt u hem niet opnieuw gebruiken.
- •Verwijder de eSIM niet na de installatie. Een eSIM is niet overdraagbaar tussen toestellen, dus als u hem verwijdert, verliest u uw abonnement.
Enkele dingen die u moet weten voor u begint met de handmatige installatie:
- •Elke handmatige activatiecode is eenmalig. Deel hem niet en voer hem niet twee keer in.
- •Zorg de hele tijd voor een stabiele Wi-Fi-verbinding. Een onderbroken verbinding kan de installatie verstoren.
- •Deze eSIM is aan uw toestel gekoppeld zodra u hem installeert. Hij is niet overdraagbaar naar een andere gsm, dus verwijder hem niet als u hem nog nodig heeft.

Veelgestelde vragen
HelloRoam ondersteunt Galaxy S20 tot en met S24 (Plus-, Ultra- en FE-varianten), Z Fold 2-5, Z Flip tot Z Flip5 en de Note 20-serie. Uw gsm heeft OneUI 3.0 of hoger nodig (Android 11+). De meeste A-serie-budgetmodellen hebben geen eSIM-hardware, dus controleer de specificaties van uw model voor u een abonnement koopt.
Samsung Galaxy bewaart eSIM-instellingen in SIM Manager, te vinden via Settings > Connections > SIM Manager. Op OneUI 6.0 en nieuwer kan het als SIM card manager verschijnen via hetzelfde pad. Kunt u het niet vinden, typ dan SIM Manager in de zoekbalk van Settings en het verschijnt meteen.
U kunt een HelloRoam eSIM op uw Samsung installeren zonder QR-code te scannen, via handmatige invoer. Open Settings, dan Connections, dan SIM Manager, dan Add eSIM en kies Enter activation code manually. Typ het SM-DP+-adres en de activatiecode uit uw HelloRoam-bevestigingsmail. Beide codes komen in dezelfde mail binnen, doorgaans binnen 5 minuten na aankoop.
Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ en S24 Ultra ondersteunen allemaal dual eSIM, zodat twee eSIM-profielen tegelijk actief kunnen zijn zonder fysieke sim-kaart. Ideaal voor reizigers vanuit België naar Spanje of de VS die hun thuisnummer actief willen houden terwijl ze een lokaal dataplan gebruiken. Beheer beide lijnen via Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
