Copy the manual installation code from your HelloRoam email and paste it in. Tap Continue and wait a few seconds.

7. Label and setup eSIM

Activate your eSIM on Android
Before you start:
- •Wait until you land at your destination before activating your eSIM. eSIM activation is automatic once you land and turn Data Roaming on.
- •Switch on airplane mode, then reconnect to Wi-Fi so your home carrier does not charge you.
- •Save this guide as a PDF so you can follow along without an internet connection.
Open Settings, tap Mobile Data, and find your HelloRoam eSIM profile in the list.
Turn on your eSIM line and switch on Data Roaming so your phone connects when you land.

Check your signal icon. At least one bar means your eSIM is connected and working.

Google Pixel支持eSIM的机型从Pixel 3起均可使用，包括Pixel 3、3 XL、3a、3a XL、4、4 XL、4a、4a 5G、5、5a 5G、6、6 Pro、6a、7、7 Pro、7a、8、8 Pro、8a、9、9 Pro、9 Pro XL以及Pixel Fold。手机需运行Android 9.0（Pie）或更高版本。Pixel 10为纯eSIM设备，不含实体SIM卡槽。
Google Pixel的eSIM设置路径为设置 > 网络和互联网 > SIM卡 > 添加SIM。Android 15（Pixel 9系列）上，路径调整为设置 > 网络和互联网 > 互联网，点击SIM卡旁边的加号图标。找不到时，在设置搜索栏输入「SIM」即可快速定位。
Google Pixel支持手动输入方式安装HelloRoam eSIM，无需扫描二维码。进入设置 > 网络和互联网 > SIM卡 > 添加SIM，选择手动输入激活码。填入HelloRoam邮件中的SM-DP+地址和激活码即可。所有支持eSIM的Pixel机型均提供此手动安装选项。
Google Pixel 9、9 Pro和9 Pro XL支持双eSIM，两个eSIM配置文件可同时运行，无需实体SIM卡。出行日本或泰国时，可在保持国内号码的同时使用HelloRoam当地流量套餐。Pixel 8、7和6系列支持一个eSIM加一张实体SIM。在设置 > 网络和互联网 > SIM卡中管理所有线路。
从Pixel 7起，Google Pixel在新设备设置时支持无线eSIM转移，按照屏幕提示将配置文件从旧设备迁移即可。HelloRoam eSIM安装后绑定至初始设备，无法跨设备转移。若无线转移失败，联系HelloRoam客服，团队平均2小时内重新下发二维码。
在Pixel上确认eSIM支持情况，可进入设置 > 网络和互联网 > 移动网络，查找eSIM或SIM卡选项。Pixel 9在全部美国运营商均支持eSIM。购买套餐前，也可在Google支持网站搜索您的具体Pixel型号确认兼容性。
