Les forfaits eSIM HelloRoam fonctionnent sur les GSM Android sous Android 9.0 (Pie) ou version ultérieure. Les modèles compatibles incluent Samsung Galaxy S20 et versions ultérieures, Google Pixel 3 et versions ultérieures, OnePlus 9 et versions ultérieures, Xiaomi 12T Pro et série 13, Oppo Find X3/X5 Pro, Motorola Razr 2019 et versions ultérieures, et Nokia XR21. L'installation d'un eSIM HelloRoam sur Android sans QR code utilise un code d'activation manuel. Ouvre les paramètres eSIM de ton GSM, touche Ajouter un eSIM ou Ajouter un forfait mobile, choisis Entrer le code d'activation manuellement, puis saisis l'adresse SM-DP+ et le code d'activation de ton e-mail de confirmation HelloRoam. Le processus prend environ 2 minutes.
Un eSIM n'est pas transférable entre appareils une fois installé. Si tu changes de GSM Android, tu auras besoin d'un nouveau forfait eSIM. C'est une règle standard de la GSMA qui s'applique à tous les fournisseurs eSIM. L'option eSIM peut aussi être absente si ton modèle ne prend pas en charge le matériel eSIM, si Android est en dessous de la version 9.0, ou si l'appareil est verrouillé par un opérateur.
