Copy the manual installation code from your HelloRoam email and paste it in. Tap Continue and wait a few seconds.

Open Settings, tap Mobile Data, and find your HelloRoam eSIM profile in the list.

HelloRoam eSIM-abonnementen werken op Android-telefoons met Android 9.0 (Pie) of nieuwer. Compatibele modellen zijn onder meer Samsung Galaxy S20 en nieuwer, Google Pixel 3 en nieuwer, OnePlus 9 en nieuwer, Xiaomi 12T Pro en 13-serie, Oppo Find X3/X5 Pro, Motorola Razr 2019 en nieuwer, en Nokia XR21. Niet elke Android-telefoon heeft eSIM-hardware, controleer dus de specificaties van jouw model voor aankoop.
De eSIM-instelling staat op verschillende plekken afhankelijk van je telefonmerk. Op Samsung (One UI): Instellingen > Verbindingen > SIM-beheer > eSIM toevoegen. Op Google Pixel: Instellingen > Netwerk en internet > SIMs > Meer toevoegen. Op OnePlus (OxygenOS): Instellingen > Mobiel netwerk > SIM-kaartbeheer. Op Xiaomi (MIUI): Instellingen > SIM-kaarten en mobiele netwerken. Elk pad bereik je in minder dan 30 seconden.
HelloRoam eSIM installeert op Android zonder QR-code via een handmatige activatiecode. Open de eSIM-instellingen van je telefoon, tik op eSIM toevoegen of Mobiel abonnement toevoegen, kies Activatiecode handmatig invoeren en typ het SM-DP+-adres en de activatiecode uit je HelloRoam-bevestigingsmail. Het proces duurt ongeveer 2 minuten.
Een eSIM is niet overdraagbaar tussen apparaten na installatie. Vervang je je Android-telefoon, dan heb je een nieuw eSIM-abonnement nodig. Dit is een standaardregel van de GSMA die voor alle eSIM-providers geldt. Je Android-telefoon verbergt de eSIM-optie als het model geen eSIM-hardware heeft, Android onder versie 9.0 (Pie) draait of provider-vergrendeld is. Controleer je apparaatspecificaties en werk Android bij om eSIM-ondersteuning te bevestigen.
