Copy the manual installation code from your HelloRoam email and paste it in. Tap Continue and wait a few seconds.

- •Wait until you land at your destination before activating your eSIM. eSIM activation is automatic once you land and turn Data Roaming on.
- •Switch on airplane mode, then reconnect to Wi-Fi so your home carrier does not charge you.

Open Settings, tap Mobile Data, and find your HelloRoam eSIM profile in the list.
Turn on your eSIM line and switch on Data Roaming so your phone connects when you land.

Android-Telefone mit Android 9.0 (Pie) oder neuer unterstützen eSIM, aber nicht jedes Modell hat eSIM-Hardware. Kompatible Geräte sind Samsung Galaxy S20 und neuer, Google Pixel 3 und neuer, OnePlus 9 und neuer, Xiaomi 12T Pro und 13er Serie, Oppo Find X3/X5 Pro, Motorola Razr 2019 und neuer sowie Nokia XR21. Prüfe vor dem Kauf die technischen Daten deines Modells.
Der Ort der eSIM-Einstellung hängt vom Hersteller ab. Bei Samsung (One UI): Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM. Bei Google Pixel: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add more. Bei OnePlus (OxygenOS): Settings > Mobile Network > SIM Card Manager. Bei Xiaomi (MIUI): Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks. Jeder Pfad ist in unter 30 Sekunden erreichbar.
Eine HelloRoam eSIM lässt sich auf Android ohne QR-Code per manuellem Aktivierungscode installieren. Öffne die eSIM-Einstellungen, tippe auf eSIM hinzufügen oder Mobilfunktarif hinzufügen, wähle Aktivierungscode manuell eingeben und gib die SM-DP+-Adresse und den Aktivierungscode aus deiner HelloRoam-Bestätigungs-E-Mail ein. Das dauert ca. 2 Minuten.
Eine eSIM ist nicht auf ein anderes Gerät übertragbar, sobald sie installiert wurde. Das ist eine GSMA-Standardregel, die für alle eSIM-Anbieter gilt. Dein Android-Telefon zeigt die eSIM-Option auch dann nicht an, wenn das Modell keine eSIM-Hardware hat, Android unter Version 9.0 (Pie) läuft oder das Gerät netzgesperrt ist. Prüfe die Spezifikationen deines Geräts und aktualisiere Android, um eSIM-Unterstützung zu bestätigen.
Die meisten eSIM-kompatiblen Android-Telefone nutzen eine physische Nano-SIM und eine eSIM gleichzeitig per Dual SIM Dual Standby. Du wählst in den SIM-Einstellungen, welche SIM mobile Daten übernimmt.
