Antigua and Barbuda is served by two main mobile operators: Digicel Antigua and Flow Antigua. Both run 4G LTE networks across Antigua, the larger of the two islands. Digicel provides the primary coverage HelloRoam uses for plans in this country.
St. John's, Antigua's capital and main port, has strong 4G throughout the city centre, Heritage Quay cruise terminal, and the commercial district. V.C. Bird International Airport has coverage in the terminal and taxi waiting areas. Antigua's famous beaches including Jolly Beach, Dickenson Bay, Half Moon Bay, and English Harbour all have 4G coverage on the beach and at the surrounding resorts and restaurants.
English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the south, have consistent 4G coverage. Falmouth Harbour, popular with yachts and sailboats, also has reliable signal.
Barbuda is the smaller, more remote island with limited infrastructure. Coverage in Codrington, the main settlement, is available but more limited than on Antigua. Beaches on the western side of Barbuda including the famous pink sand beach may have variable signal. Australian travellers should confirm their handset is unlocked and supports the local network bands.
