Dublin is a year-round city, but weather adds variety. June, July, and August are the warmest months, with temperatures reaching 18C to 22C. Long daylight hours, outdoor pubs, and coastal walks along the Howth Cliff Path and Bull Island are at their best. August's Puck Fair in Kerry draws visitors to one of Ireland's oldest festivals. St. Patrick's Day on March 17 is Dublin's biggest celebration, with parades, live music, and the city at its greenest. March weather is unpredictable, typically 8C to 12C, but the festive atmosphere is unmatched. September and October offer mild temperatures and the Wexford Opera Festival. The Bloom gardening festival in June at Phoenix Park is a local highlight. December brings Christmas markets along Grafton Street and festive lights. January and February are the quietest months, cool and damp, but pubs and live music venues provide warmth. Book accommodation at least two months ahead for St. Patrick's Day week.
