Orlando and the theme parks have specific windows worth planning around. September, early October, and mid-January through early February are the least crowded times at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. Cooler temperatures, 18C to 26C in September to October, make walking between parks much more comfortable than the sweltering summer. Christmas week (December 25 to January 1) is the single busiest week of the year; parks hit maximum capacity and entry is first-come, first-served. Spring Break (mid-March to mid-April) brings school holiday crowds from across the US and internationally. June, July, and August are very hot and humid, 32C to 35C, with daily afternoon thunderstorms. Disney and Universal operate rain or shine, and storms typically pass in 30 to 45 minutes. July 4th and Labor Day weekends see major surges. October's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom and November's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are popular ticketed events within the parks.
