Find your eSIM by matching its ICCID to a line on your phone
The HelloRoam app shows your eSIM's ICCID under My eSIM > More Detail > About Your eSIM. That number tells your lines apart, and a line's name does not. An iPhone also lists it under Settings > General > About, and a Galaxy phone lists it under About phone. The line whose ICCID matches the app is your HelloRoam eSIM.
Spot the right line from the screen

Where the ICCID sits on each phone
iPhone
An iPhone lists the ICCID under Settings > General > About. Match it with the ICCID in the HelloRoam app. Before you land, read the number in the app only, and leave the HelloRoam line off.
Open Settings > General > About.
Scroll the list and look for ICCID.
With two lines, read the ICCID shown for each one.
After you land, if a line is off, turn it on so its ICCID shows.
Compare that number with the ICCID in the HelloRoam app.
When they match, rename the line to your destination.

Galaxy phones list the ICCID under About phone. Read it in the HelloRoam app first, then find the same number on the phone.
Sign in to the HelloRoam app and open the My eSIM tab.
Tap More Detail on the eSIM's card.
Scroll to General information, then tap About Your eSIM.
Read the ICCID in the first row, or tap the copy button.
Open Settings > Connections > SIM manager and tap the eSIM's entry.
Read the ICCID in Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status.
Match the number, then rename the line to your destination.

Google's Pixel help lists the IMEI and EID but not the ICCID, so read the ICCID in the HelloRoam app. Then find the line.
Sign in to the HelloRoam app and open the My eSIM tab.
Tap More Detail on the eSIM's card.
Scroll to General information, then tap About Your eSIM.
Read the ICCID in the first row, or tap the copy button.
Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs to see your lines.
Tap the HelloRoam line and rename it to your destination.

Other Android
Menu names change by brand and Android version. Read the ICCID in the HelloRoam app, then find the line in your SIM settings.
Sign in to the HelloRoam app and open the My eSIM tab.
Tap More Detail, then scroll to General information.
Tap About Your eSIM and read the ICCID in the first row.
Open Settings > Network & internet > SIMs, or Mobile network on older phones.
Tap the eSIM's entry, then rename it to your destination.

When the number will not show

The app lists your eSIMs only when you are signed in. Sign in, then open the My eSIM tab in the HelloRoam app.

An eSIM that has ended sits under the Expired tab, not Current. More Detail still opens for it.

Your phone may show a line's details only while that line is turned on. The app shows the number whatever the line is doing.

Reading the number in the app changes nothing on your phone. The row only shows the number, and a copy button sits next to it.

You can also name the eSIM inside the app while it is still active. Tap Edit eSIM Tag on the card, type a Label Name and save. That name shows in the app only.

If the number on your phone matches nothing in the app, write to help@helloroam.com. Send the number you read and the screen you read it on.
Don't delete an eSIM to work out which one it is. Deleting is never the fix, and the app shows the number without touching your lines.
What support needs to spot your eSIM
Write to help@helloroam.com. Say which problem you have: telling your lines apart, telling two HelloRoam eSIMs apart, or a number that matches nothing in the app. Send this with your first message.
- Your order number. In the app, scroll to Additional details and tap Purchase information.
- The ICCID of the eSIM you are asking about, copied from the app.
- Your phone brand and model.
- The country and city you are in now.
- Whether the HelloRoam line is turned on, and whether it is the line chosen for mobile data.
- The exact words of any error message. 'It doesn't work' costs you another round of questions.
- A screenshot of your phone's list of lines, so support can see which line is which.
- On a Samsung, the SIM manager screen, and the eSIM's details if you have more than one.
- If a number on your phone matches nothing in the app, the number you read and where you read it.
Crop any QR code out of a screenshot before you send it. The app screen that holds the ICCID also holds install codes.

Where do I find my eSIM on my iPhone?
Your iPhone lists your HelloRoam eSIM, and every other line, under Settings > Cellular, below SIMs. UK English iPhones call that menu Mobile Service. A line's name does not show which one is HelloRoam, so check its ICCID. Open Settings > General > About and scroll to the ICCID. Match it with the ICCID in the HelloRoam app, under My eSIM > More Detail > About Your eSIM.
What is my eSIM's number called on iPhone?
It is called the ICCID, and it identifies one eSIM. It is not a phone number. A HelloRoam eSIM carries data only, so it has none. The ICCID is the e SIM number HelloRoam support asks for. Apple's help lists it under Settings > General > About, where you touch and hold it to copy. The HelloRoam app shows it with a copy button.
Is there an eSIM number lookup tool?
There is no HelloRoam lookup tool for it, and you do not need one. The HelloRoam app shows it under About Your eSIM. An iPhone lists it in Settings > General > About. A Galaxy phone lists it under About phone > Status information > SIM card status. Match the two numbers to be certain which line is which.
How do I know which eSIM is mine when I have more than one on my phone?
Match each line's ICCID with the HelloRoam app, not its name or the order you installed it. A second HelloRoam e-sim can even show the same name as the first. Read each ICCID in the app, find the matching line, then rename it to its destination. Once a HelloRoam eSIM has connected, its code cannot install it again. Read when deleting an eSIM is safe before you remove an old plan.
How do I tell if it's an eSIM or a physical SIM in Settings, General, About?
Compare each ICCID on that screen with the HelloRoam app. The match is your HelloRoam eSIM, and the other line is a physical SIM or another eSIM. Apple's help lists an EID and an IMEI there. The EID identifies your phone's eSIM chip, and the IMEI identifies the phone. Only the ICCID identifies one SIM or eSIM. Google's Pixel help names the EID and IMEI but not the ICCID, so use the app on a Pixel.
