Poland has three dominant operators: Orange, Play (part of Iliad Group), and Plus (Polsat). T-Mobile Poland also operates 4G and limited 5G. HelloRoam eSIMs connect via Orange or Play, both of which have nationwide 5G rollouts running at sub-6 GHz frequencies.
Warsaw has some of the best urban network performance in Central Europe. Average 4G speeds in the city center run between 40 and 100 Mbps. The Warsaw Metro has 4G coverage at all stations and in tunnels. Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and Poznan all have strong 5G and 4G across city centers and suburban areas.
The Baltic coast, including Sopot, Gdynia, and the Hel Peninsula, has solid 4G throughout the summer season. The Mazury Lake District in northeast Poland has 4G in towns and along main routes, with some lake islands and forest areas dropping to 3G. The Bialowieza Primeval Forest has 4G at the main visitor center and park entrance but limited coverage on deeper forest trails.
