The Canary Islands have 4G LTE and some 5G coverage across their main resorts, towns, and airports, with Movistar, Vodafone Spain, and Orange Spain all operating across the archipelago. Tenerife has the strongest coverage. Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz, and the main resort strips in the south all have reliable 4G. Teide National Park has outdoor 4G at the Teide cable car station and the main visitor centre, with signal weakening on summit trails above 3,000 meters. Gran Canaria has strong 4G in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, and Meloneras resort areas. Lanzarote has consistent 4G in Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, and Playa Blanca. Timanfaya National Park on Lanzarote has outdoor 4G at the visitor entry zones. Fuerteventura has 4G in Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, and Costa Calma. La Palma has 4G in Santa Cruz de La Palma and Tazacorte, but the Caldera de Taburiente National Park interior has limited signal. Airports on all seven main islands have full 4G coverage: Tenerife South (TFS), Tenerife North (TFN), Gran Canaria (LPA), Lanzarote (ACE), Fuerteventura (FUE), La Palma (SPC), and El Hierro (VDE). Remote hiking trails, forest interiors, and volcanic crater zones have reduced or no mobile coverage.
