Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has two carriers: Digicel Saint Vincent and Flow (Cable and Wireless). Both operate 4G LTE on the main island of Saint Vincent and extend service to the Grenadine islands. HelloRoam plans connect via these carriers.
Kingstown, the capital, has 4G coverage in the city centre, the port, and surrounding areas. The Argyle International Airport on the east coast of Saint Vincent has coverage. Coastal roads along the leeward and windward coasts have usable signal in most sections.
The Grenadines are a chain of about 30 small islands and cays stretching south toward Grenada. Coverage on the Grenadines varies significantly by island. Bequia, the largest and most visited Grenadine, has 4G coverage in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. Mustique, the private resort island, has coverage in the main village and resort areas. Canouan, Union Island, and Mayreau have signal in their main harbors and towns.
The uninhabited Tobago Cays, a popular sailing and snorkeling destination inside a coral reef lagoon, have no mobile coverage. Sailors and visitors to the Cays rely on VHF radio and downloaded offline charts.
La Soufriere volcano in the north of Saint Vincent has very limited coverage. The volcano is active and erupted significantly in 2021. Check volcanic activity status before planning any trek to the summit. Download trail information before leaving the areas with coverage. Australian travellers should confirm their handset is unlocked and supports the local network bands.
