Chicago has strong 4G and 5G coverage across its main neighborhoods and the metro area, with T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all providing dense coverage in the city. The Loop, Chicago's downtown business and entertainment core, has dense 5G from all three carriers. Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago Riverwalk all have reliable outdoor 4G and 5G. Magnificent Mile (North Michigan Avenue), River North, and Streeterville have excellent 5G coverage. Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Boystown, and Andersonville all have strong 4G along their main commercial strips. The Navy Pier has outdoor 4G and 5G throughout. Wrigley Field in Lakeview has DAS indoor coverage for 4G during Cubs games. Soldier Field on the lakefront has strong 4G and 5G for Bears and major concert events. O'Hare International Airport (ORD) has full 5G in all terminals including the international terminal 5. Midway Airport (MDW) has solid 4G and 5G in all gates. The CTA elevated L train has 4G at outdoor and elevated stations. Underground stations, including those in the Chicago Loop subway under State and Dearborn streets, have limited platform coverage. The Lakefront Trail, running 18.5 miles from Edgewater to Jackson Park, has open-sky outdoor 4G throughout. Suburban areas along Metra commuter rail corridors, including Naperville, Evanston, and Oak Park, have consistent 4G at stations.
